Jordan & Christian
An Intimate Elopement at Rosa Morada, San Pancho
How it unfolded.
Jordan and Christian got married at Rosa Morada in March 2026, just the two of them and the people closest to them. San Pancho was the right town for it. Quieter than its neighbors, slower in the afternoons, the kind of place where the bougainvillea spills over the walls and nobody is in a hurry. Dani and I came up the coast to spend the day with them, cameras in hand, mostly out of the way.
The ceremony was barefoot on the sand, late enough that the heat had broken and the light off the Pacific had started to soften. Christian cried first. Jordan laughed and then cried too. Afterwards their families gathered around one long table for dinner, the kind that goes on for hours because nobody actually wants it to end, with the ocean a few steps away and the wind picking up the candles. I shot most of it on digital, some on 35mm film, while Dani covered the reception from a second angle.
