Mojghan & Oscar

Mojghan and Oscar got married at Frente al Punto in March 2024, with about fifty people who had come to Sayulita to celebrate with them. March is a reliable month on this coast: dry, warm, and the light in the late afternoon has a particular clarity to it that makes the colors of the town look like they were turned up slightly. Dani and I spent the day with them, moving through the venue and following the day as it unfolded.
The ceremony happened barefoot on the sand, with the Pacific right there and the kind of crowd that knows when to be quiet and when to let go. Mojghan and Oscar took their time with their vows. Dinner moved into the open air space after, fifty people settling in around tables while the sky went from gold to dark over the water. The conversation got comfortable quickly the way it does when most of the guests already know each other, and the evening stretched without anyone trying to make it. I shot the whole day on digital, working the light as it shifted through the hours.
