Daniela & Brant

Daniela and Brant got married at the Hilton Vallarta Riviera in May 2025, up on the rooftop terrace with the bay spread out behind them and about sixty people who had made the trip. The venue did something smart with the day: ceremony on the rooftop, cocktails downstairs while the space turned over, then dinner back up top under the open sky. It gave the evening a natural rhythm, a reason to move, and a different version of the same view at each stage of the night. Dani and I moved through all of it with them.
The ceremony was late afternoon, the light off Banderas Bay doing what it does at that hour. Daniela came up to the rooftop and Brant went very still for a moment. After the vows and the cocktail hour downstairs, dinner settled in around one long configuration of tables on the terrace, family and friends close enough that the conversation ran together all night. Somewhere between dinner and dancing a tattoo artist set up quietly in the corner, and people lined up between toasts. It was the kind of detail that tells you exactly who this couple is. I shot a mix of digital and 35mm film, and Dani layered in Super 8 through the toasts and the dancing.
