Tim & Richard

Tim and Richard got married at Las Caletas in March 2025, with about fifty people who had taken the boat across Banderas Bay to be there with them. Las Caletas is one of those venues that earns its reputation. No road access, jungle right up to the sand, the kind of place that makes the journey part of the day before the ceremony even begins. Dani and I made the crossing with them and spent the day working quietly through the hours as the light moved across the bay.
The ceremony happened barefoot on the beach in the late afternoon, the water behind Tim and Richard and fifty people gathered close on the sand. They had written their own vows, the kind that land differently when you can tell they were written for one specific person and not borrowed from anywhere. Dinner followed in the open air, the jungle on one side and the bay on the other, the conversation getting looser and warmer as the night went on. I photographed the whole day on digital, and alongside the photos we put together a digital video that moves through the day the way the best memories do.
