Hannah & David

Hannah and David flew down to Riu Vallarta in January 2026 for their wedding, and the day before everything began, we slipped away with them for an hour to do a pre-wedding session along the beach. The resort was already filling up with their guests, the welcome drinks were happening somewhere up by the pool, and the two of them used the excuse of the camera to step out of all of it for a little while. Sessions like this one are some of my favorite to shoot for exactly that reason.
We walked along the sand toward the quieter end of the property, where the buildings give way and the coast opens up. Hannah kept laughing at how nervous she suddenly felt, even though the wedding was not until the next day. David did what he always does and pulled her in close until she stopped thinking about the camera. The light came down soft and golden the way it does along this stretch of coast in January, and I shot on digital while Dani worked alongside me from a second angle.
